The Show

A Celebration of DOGS!

All of the demonstrations at the Big Bend Barkfest will take place on the playing field at Wakulla High School at the intersection of  Hwy 319 and US 98 (Coastal Highway). The show will start at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until approximately 4:00 p.m on Saturday March 6, 2010.  It should be noted that the demonstrations and events below are not final. Each day this list may be updated with more current information.  It is planned that a final actual schedule will be posted on March 1, 2010.  That schedule will be available in a downloadable format that you may to carry to Barkfest.

The show itself will be divided into two categories.  Events that are open to public participation and those demonstrations which will be staged by professional dog handlers. The demonstrations and the schedule are listed above.  Please see the Events tab at the top of the page for more information on the Events open to the public.

 

 

 

 

 Those visiting from “out of town” will find discounted lodging at the Best Western Inn (but sorry,  no dogs)  and the Wildwood Inn (dogs welcome!) in Crawfordville.  Both are near the stadium.  Mention that you are attending Barkfest and request the discount rate.
